This is the Big Daddy of my little stash and it will be the last one to be built. I'm using the other models as 'free practise' and will hopefully have learned enough to avoid making any silly mistakes in this build.

May be some time :-(

ABOUT ME

Hi and thank you for visiting the blog. I'm a 62yr old from the North West of England and I've found a new love of plastic kits after a break of over 40 years!

My main interest in this field is aviation, but I also like the odd car - mainly because I have fond memories of certain models like the Citroen DS.

When it comes to aircraft, I will build only stuff that holds a special interest to me and that's mainly military jets, although there's a lot of WWII classics that will probably appear in my stash.

I saw that it was time to move on from brush-painting and so I invested in an airbrush and compressor. It turns out that painting with the airbrush is not as difficult as I thought it was going to be, but the constant cleaning is a pain in the ass.

I'm really enjoying my return to the hobby and I find it both relaxing and challenging in equal measures. I must admit though, I find it difficult to tell my friends that I make plastic aircraft and cars for a hobby LOL. I always feel like I've got to follow it up with "And I like sex, beer and motorbikes".
